Dundee Animal Hospital of Elgin is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team! Dundee Elgin is an AAHA-accredited practice with a diverse caseload spanning preventative care, internal medicine, diagnostics, surgery, urgent care, walk-ins, and exotics. Our doctors regularly collaborate on cases, and our technicians are encouraged to contribute their knowledge as part of the medical team.

What Your Day Actually Looks Like:
We believe doctors should have enough time to appropriately work up their patients rather than feeling like they’re racing from room to room.
- Practice Hours: Mon & Fri (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM), Tues & Wed (8:00 AM – 7:00 PM), Thurs & Sun (Closed)
- Full-time doctors typically work a 3-day week followed by a 5-day week, with every other Saturday.
- Surgery days: Tuesday & Wednesday
- Appointments are scheduled for 20+ or 40+ minutes based on the patient and case
- Dedicated technician support: approximately 1.5 techs per DVM
- There is no traditional on-call requirement. Our Dundee ER sister hospital is open 24/7, providing emergency coverage outside of Elgin's regular hours.
