Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Physical Therapist with First Steps
DIVISION: Therapy
SUPERVISOR: Director of First Steps
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
PURPOSE:
The Physical Therapist is responsible for physical therapy evaluation and treatment to First Steps patients. This includes preparing and maintaining records and reports on patient evaluations and plans of treatments.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Schedule and conduct physical therapy evaluations and continued therapy services.
- Evaluate therapy results and make recommendations regarding treatment.
- Provide guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants.
- Maintain accurate records and data tracking of patient treatments.
- Maintain great communication and professional relationships with clients, family members, and co-workers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
- Must be a currently licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Indiana.
- A valid Indiana driver's license preferred.
- Good Communicator, Dependable, and Compassionate.
