Machine Operator- 2nd Shift (Significant Premium Increase)

Bema Incorporated, a supplier to the flexible packaging industry, is hiring a 2nd Shift Machine Operator and is willing to train qualified candidates. The role involves operating pouch and bag manufacturing equipment in a clean, fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all safety, quality, housekeeping, and AIB requirements.
• Review job specifications and set up machines accordingly.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality.
• Troubleshoot and correct production issues.
• Perform minor machine maintenance.
• Complete production documentation accurately and on time.
• Meet production goals for speed, scrap reduction, and setup efficiency.
• Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Dependable and reliable attendance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good organizational abilities.
• Safety-focused mindset.
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.

Physical Requirements

• Extended periods of standing.
• Frequent bending, squatting, reaching, and pulling.
