EMH&T is currently seeking a Civil Engineer, PE to join our Transportation Planning and Design team located in Columbus, OH.

Our Engineers collaborate with the project team to develop creative solutions to address client needs and solve design and construction challenges that may arise.

Responsibilities


Work includes design or redesign of highways/roadways, interchange design, drainage design, plan reviews, and coordination with public regulatory agencies and utility companies. You will gain experience on a vast array of projects, including large-scale roadway design projects and city/township/county projects, offering a wide variety of scope.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • Experience in roadway design and ODOT plan preparation
  • Hands-on design and drafting experience using Microstation/Open Roads/Geopak
  • Must have a working knowledge in: roadway vertical and horizontal geometric design in accordance with ODOT and AASHTO standards, roadway drainage design and BMP design, and common constructability issues
