Status: Part-time
Summary: Works directly under the supervision of Physical Therapist. Performs Physical Therapy support by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Greets patients entering PT Department
- Assists PT , PTA and ATC with treatment protocols
- Prepares PT space by cleaning tables and exercise machines
- Supports PT, PTA and ATC with exercise regimens for patients
- Assists patients on to exercise machinery
- Provides support to PT staff in a variety of tasks
- Ability to multitask
- Current CPR/AED Certification a plus
- Must be able to assist patients on tables and equipment and occasionally lift and/or help move patients over 100 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Flexible team player
- Strong computer experience, electronic medical records experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills
