TITLE: Outpatient Behavioral Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LPE-I) (Outpatient)
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports directly to the Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health Service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in social work, counseling or related field (must be independently licensed to practice in Arkansas).
- Experience: Licensed in Arkansas as a Mental Health Professional with at least two years post-master’s experience in psychiatric or mental health setting. Must have completed hospital and clinic orientation period in order to act as a team leader.
- Skills: The therapist must possess effective communication skills and must demonstrate leadership ability and interest in professional growth. Must be readily adaptable to changing physician/practice demands, without deterioration under stress; and must have a basic concept of customer service, scheduling, and counseling. The therapist must possess demonstrated knowledge, training and skills necessary and appropriate to the patient-specific population. Therapist must be able to set priorities and effectively delegate/coordinate interdisciplinary care based on the needs of the patient and clinic.
- Working Relationships: Ability to function with minimum supervision and interface appropriately with healthcare team.
- Performance & Competency: Must successfully demonstrate competency in field and work environment on a continuous basis—including age-specific competencies, clinical competencies and organization-wide competencies such as fire, infection control, emergencies, etc.). Performance will be measured and routinely evaluated with clinical administrative staff as required.
