Physical Therapist Assistant - Casual Position

Scheurer Health, a critical access hospital, is seeking a casual licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Rehabilitation Team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the physical therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients
• Monitor and document patient progress
• Communicate with patients and their families about treatment plans and progress
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing physical therapy practice

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy
• Current PTA license in the state of Michigan
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
