The Opportunity

As a Twisting Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for keeping twisting and winding operations running efficiently while ensuring materials meet our quality standards.

You'll work with production machinery, raw materials, measuring equipment, and computer systems while following established processes to produce quality finished yarn.


Schedule & Pay

Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 PM–6:00 AM

Paid meal break

Base rate of pay + $2/hour night shift differential

Consistent 4-day workweek

What You'll Do

Keep twisters operating continuously by changing bobbins and replenishing raw material supplies.

Reprogram twisters for different materials and perform first-piece inspections.

Transfer full bobbins to the winding area.

Set up winders using the correct recipe and perform winding operations.

Accurately weigh and segregate materials.

Transport completed containers of finished yarn to Inventory Control for receiving.

Train to assist with warping operations, including creeling.

Accurately enter job-specific information into the computer system.

Follow all safety rules, procedures, and work instructions.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Work collaboratively with team members to maintain production and quality standards.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, mechanically comfortable, and committed to quality and accuracy.

Required:

Basic computer skills.

Basic math skills.

Ability to use applicable measuring devices accurately.

Strong attention to detail.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Ability to remain alert and safety-conscious throughout the workday.

Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.

Preferred:

High school diploma or GED.

Manufacturing or machine-operation experience.

Experience working with production equipment or measuring devices.

Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
