1st Shift Machine Operator

Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill a 1st Shift Machine Operator position for a manufacturing client in McMinnville, TN. This is a Temp/Contract job. Apply now!

• Operate equipment and perform minor to moderate machine set-ups as required
• Perform first piece inspections and monitor part quality throughout production
• Make adjustments to maintain quality standards
• Record production data for SPC and ISO/QS documentation
• Assist other operators as needed to support production flow
• Suggest process improvement ideas
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety rules and company procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

$15.00/hour

1st Shift

Monday – Friday
7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous machine operation experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
