The Tunnel Operator is responsible for loading and unloading tunnel washers and dryers, following the correct operational instructions.
Duties:
Loading and unloading tunnel washers with proper linen weights and the correct wash formula.
Loading and unloading dryers.
Frequently lift and move large quantities of linen.
Monitor equipment and report any safety issues to Management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent required.
Lift over 40 pounds consistently.
Basic knowledge and use of computers.
Be organized, flexible and able to handle multiple priorities and deadline pressures.
Good vision and hearing capabilities to ensure safety while working around equipment.
Must be able to speak and understand English.
