About the Role
The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for:
Providing primary and secondary nursing care to our residents under the supervision of a registered nurse
administering medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed by physicians
monitoring resident vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
performing various medical procedures, such as vital sign checks, wound care, and catheter care
documenting resident care and progress in accordance with facility policies
collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to our residents, including:
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitoring and reporting vital signs and changes
Performing various medical procedures
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of resident care
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including registered nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists
Participate in pre-shift reports and multidisciplinary care conferences to ensure comprehensive care
Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices through ongoing education and training
Requirements
Current LPN license in the state of Florida
High school diploma or equivalent required; LPN diploma or degree preferred
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse; experience in long-term care or sub-acute settings preferred
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with assistance
