Trinity Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Asheville, NC. This role offers a flexible opportunity to provide services in both skilled nursing (SNF) and outpatient (PRN) settings while making a meaningful impact on patients’ quality of life.

Position Overview

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population. This role focuses on helping patients improve their speech, language, cognitive-communication, social communication, and swallowing abilities to maximize independence and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapy services in SNF and outpatient settings as needed
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care

Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active North Carolina SLP license (or eligible)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience in skilled nursing and/or outpatient settings is a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
