LICENSED CLINICIAN (LICSW/LGSW)

Universal Health and Serenity Pathways (UHSP) is seeking compassionate and motivated Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LICSW) and Licensed Graduate Social Workers (LGSW) to join our growing behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment team in Washington, DC.

The Licensed Clinician will provide assessment, counseling, treatment planning, care coordination, and recovery support services to individuals receiving mental health and substance use disorder treatment. This position works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote positive outcomes and improve the overall well-being of consumers.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and screenings
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual, family, and group counseling services
• Coordinate care with internal and external providers
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in treatment team meetings and case consultations
• Assist consumers in accessing community resources and support services
• Ensure compliance with DBH, Medicaid, HIPAA, and agency requirements
• Participate in quality improvement and staff development activities

Qualifications:
• Active DC LICSW or LGSW license
• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
• Experience in behavioral health, community mental health, or substance use disorder treatment preferred
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
