Job Summary
Join our dynamic team at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Madison, Ohio, where we treat our residents like family. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients requiring respiratory therapy. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team on a part-time basis.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Perform chest examinations on patients of all ages, from babies to the elderly
Consult with doctors and other healthcare staff to develop and modify patient treatment plans
Provide detailed therapy, requiring significant independent judgment, for patients in intensive care
Perform physical examination and diagnostic tests, including lung capacity and blood acidity and alkalinity
Treat patients using oxygen or oxygen mixtures, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
Connect patients who cannot breathe to a ventilator
Educate patients on how to use equipment and medication
Regularly check on patients and equipment
Additional duties as assigned by Job Description, Administrator, and Regional Management Team
