Job Summary

Join our dynamic team at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Madison, Ohio, where we treat our residents like family. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients requiring respiratory therapy. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Perform chest examinations on patients of all ages, from babies to the elderly

  • Consult with doctors and other healthcare staff to develop and modify patient treatment plans

  • Provide detailed therapy, requiring significant independent judgment, for patients in intensive care

  • Perform physical examination and diagnostic tests, including lung capacity and blood acidity and alkalinity

  • Treat patients using oxygen or oxygen mixtures, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy

  • Connect patients who cannot breathe to a ventilator

  • Educate patients on how to use equipment and medication

  • Regularly check on patients and equipment

  • Additional duties as assigned by Job Description, Administrator, and Regional Management Team
