Preschool Teachers Assistant

The Preschool Teacher Assistant supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for preschool-aged children. This role involves assisting with classroom activities, supervising children, and maintaining communication with parents to foster a positive early learning experience. The position offers various schedules, including part-time and full-time options, with benefits such as paid holidays, no weekend shifts, and tuition assistance. Infants through Pre-K.

Part-time: Morning or afternoon is a good fit for college students or a person only needing part-time work.

Full-time 7:00 - 4:30.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson implementation
• Supervise and ensure the safety of preschool children during activities and transitions
• Support classroom management to maintain a positive learning environment
• Communicate with parents regarding child progress and classroom updates
• Monitor children’s behavior and report concerns to the Lead Teacher

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in early childhood education
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Skills in childcare, classroom support, and communication
• Patience and teamwork abilities
• Basic First Aid knowledge
• Organizational and behavior management skills
