Fabrication and Construction Laborer

We are seeking a beginner Fabricator and/or Welder to join our team. In this role, you will modify standard shipping containers into custom structures. You will handle projects from initial steel fabrication through to interior build-outs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut, modify, and reinforce structural steel components. (MIG welding preferred but not required)
• Frame interior container walls using wood or light-gauge metal studs.
• Install insulation materials efficiently.
• Run basic electrical wiring and install simple fixtures.
• Move material with a forklift.
• Maintaining a safe work environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of carpentry, framing, and general construction.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring safety.
• Ability to use grinders and other standard power tools.
• Excellent spatial awareness and measurement accuracy.

Preferred Experience:

• Direct experience modifying ISO shipping containers.
• Prior work in residential or commercial construction.
