Caregiver

The Caregiver Live In provides compassionate and consistent support to adult individuals requiring assistance with daily living activities. Working within a care team, the caregiver helps ensure clients' comfort, safety, and well-being through personal care, medication assistance, meal preparation, and health monitoring. This role involves live-in responsibilities with specific evening and overnight shifts, occasionally accompanying care recipients on community outings while adhering to agency protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance
• Administer medications according to instructions
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment
• Monitor health and report changes to care team
• Support care recipient during occasional community travel
• Work within care team support structure following agency protocols
• Maintain live-in shift hours: 6:00 pm to 9:00 am on weekdays and live-in on weekends

Required Qualifications

• Background check
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in patient care and medication management
• Basic cooking skills for meal preparation
• Housekeeping abilities
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Valid drivers license - good driving record

Needed Qualifications

• One or more years of caregiving experience

Weekend Live-In Shift 8 am Saturday to Monday 8 am
