Electrician Journeyman

The Electrician Journeyman plays a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within commercial and industrial projects. This position requires the ability to work independently while ensuring all work complies with safety and code standards. The Journeyman is responsible for interpreting blueprints and troubleshooting complex electrical issues to maintain system reliability and safety.

Responsibilities

• Install wiring and electrical components for commercial and industrial projects
• Perform electrical repairs and system maintenance
• Ensure all work meets electrical code compliance
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform equipment testing
• Conduct safety inspections on electrical systems and installations
• Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams accurately
• Maintain electrical system integrity through preventive measures

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical work
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Journeyman Electrician License
• Strong problem-solving skills
