Retail Sales Associate

Fit is important in the shoes we sell and in the people we hire. We have a long tradition (120 + years!) of making the most comfortable work and outdoor footwear. The successful candidate will be paid hourly with commissions plus a bonus and have the opportunity for advancement. We are looking to hire an employee who is Dependable, has flexibility in their schedule and is available to work during the week and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and support the high-quality Red Wing brand image.
• Enter customer information and sales into POS, process payments.
• Measure and fit every customer properly.
• Meet weekly and monthly sales goals.
• Explain product features and benefits, as well as technical specifications.
• Suggest appropriate accessories with every footwear purchase.
• Take pride and responsibility for overall store and personal appearance.
• Enthusiasm to provide the highest level of customer service.
• Assists in the completion of daily projects while keeping the focus on customer experience.

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year Minimum of retail experience or customer service desired.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to perform additional duties as required.
• Basic Math and Computer Skills needed.
• Bilingual a plus, English and Spanish.
