Part Time Administrative Assistant
Job Description
We are looking for a Part-Time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to support daily front office operations for an organization in Orlando, Florida. This position serves as a key point of contact for visitors, callers, and internal teams while helping keep administrative and accounting activities organized and on schedule. The ideal candidate brings a strong customer service approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage a variety of office tasks with professionalism.
This person will work Monday-Friday, 7:30-12 daily.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests professionally and ensure visitors are directed to the appropriate person or department.
• Manage incoming telephone calls, provide helpful assistance, and route inquiries accurately and efficiently.
• Sort, open, and distribute incoming mail to support timely communication across the office.
• Create and maintain daily deposit spreadsheets with a high degree of accuracy.
• Prepare outbound shipping documentation and courier labels for packages sent to the corporate office.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including document filing, invoice distribution, and accounts payable voucher assistance.
• Monitor office supply inventory and place orders to keep the workplace stocked and functional.
• Use and help maintain standard office equipment such as computers, copiers, and postage machines.
• Replenish shared spaces including the kitchen, break room, and storage areas to maintain an orderly environment.
• Assist with additional administrative projects and general office tasks as business needs arise.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.• Prior experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience operating common office equipment such as printers, copiers, and postage systems.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a detail-oriented, service-oriented demeanor.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Self-motivated and proactive in resolving routine issues and supporting office needs.
• Background in benefits-related functions such as benefits coordination, COBRA administration, leave of absence support, or compensation and benefits is a plus.
