Veterinary Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated full-time veterinary professional with a minimum of three years of experience in the companion animal field. The ideal candidate is confident in several areas such as client communication, blood draws, catheter placement, safe and effective animal restraint, and strong time‐management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Support veterinarians during examinations and treatments, applying knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology.
Perform safe and effective animal restraint to ensure thorough exams and smooth medical procedures.
Administer medications and vaccinations as directed, while monitoring patient health, comfort, and behavior.
Maintain accurate, detailed computerized medical records and assist with multi‐panel laboratory testing as needed.
Educate pet owners on proper pet care, preventive health, and ongoing wellness practices.
Complete daily client follow‐ups through text, email, and phone communication.
