A well-respected Non-Public School in the Sacramento/Placer County area is seeking dedicated Special Education Instructional Assistants who are passionate about helping children develop a love for learning through structured instruction, behavioral guidance, and individualized support.
While an interest in progressing toward the teaching profession is preferred, it’s not required — we are committed to developing future teachers from our current team members.
Position Overview:
As a Special Education Instructional Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to support students academically, socially, and behaviorally. Responsibilities include assisting with academic materials, promoting appropriate social interactions, and helping to implement individualized behavior plans.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of experience working with special needs students in a classroom setting (preferred).
- Knowledge of working with students with Autism is preferred.
- Familiarity with Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) methodology is highly desired
- Clean driving record (may be responsible for transporting students to/from school or outings).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma acceptable.
Position Details & Benefits:
