Housekeeping Assistant – Part-Time Day Shift

Harvest Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility in Keota, IA.
Position DetailsStatus: Part-Time
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: Must be available to work every other weekend
Follow established housekeeping procedures and infection control guidelines
Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, and facility workspaces
Assist with industrial cleaning equipment, including floor buffers and floor scrubbers
Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs and addressing simple repairs
Lift and transport supplies, equipment, and other materials as needed
Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed
Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff
Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, or a related field preferred
Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
Must be at least 18 years of age
