Laundry Aide - Aspire Senior Living Webb City

Full-Time Day/Evening Shift (2 Days & 2 Evening shifts)

Pay: $15/hr

Aspire Senior Living Webb City is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Laundry Aide. This role is essential to maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents. The Laundry Aide will be responsible for the washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens, clothing, and other laundry items, ensuring quality standards are met.

Laundry Aide Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items including linens, towels, and residents' personal clothing

• Operate washing and drying machines according to manufacturer's instructions

• Inspect laundry for stains, damage, and repairs, notifying management when needed

• Ensure that all laundry items are properly stored and available as needed

• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry room and equipment

• Follow health and safety guidelines, including infection control policies

• Work collaboratively with other staff to support residents' comfort and well-being

Laundry Aide Requirements:

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred, especially in healthcare or long-term care settings

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and quality standards

• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull laundry loads

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring attitude toward residents
