Insurance Producer - Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and results driven Insurance Producer - Business Development Specialist (BDS) to join our dynamic team in Marlton, NJ.

What You'll Do:

Develop new business and maintain relationships with the client by providing guidance for strategic initiatives regarding Property and Casualty Insurance. (P&C)

• Schedule meetings with new opportunities for P&C.
• Gather the necessary information regarding the accounts, complete required application, and submit this information to the internal marketing department.
• Prepare (when necessary) and present proposals and plans to prospective clients.
• Proactively outreach to clients on annual basis for renewal.
• Meet monthly with Account Manager regarding service needs of current clients.
• Communicate and present renewal options to the client working with the Account Manager.
• Managing current book of business.

What We're Looking For:

• Must maintain or obtain a New Jersey Producer License. (Property & Casualty) within 60 days of hire. REQUIRED
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance to meet HIG standards. REQUIRED
• Must adhere to all systems, procedures, and insurance company regulations.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Must maintain insurance license completing the required continuing education (CE) courses.
• Must maintain the confidentiality of all confidential information during employment.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely both verbal and written.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

$45K-$55K/Annual Base - plus commission
