Position Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm
- Pay: $15–$17 per hour (based on experience, education, and certifications)
- Language Requirement: Fully English (Bilingual English/Spanish a bonus)
What You’ll Do
- Create a safe, nurturing, clean, and engaging learning environment
- Support Lead Teacher and ensure classroom daily routines are followed
- Help implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Communicate professionally with families at drop-off and pick-up
- Document daily activities and child progress for parents
- Work collaboratively with your co-teachers
- Assist with diapering, pottying, cleaning, meal prep, and classroom care
- Participate in ongoing training and staff meetings
What We’re Looking For
- Prior childcare or early childhood experience **MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE**
- Reliable, punctual, and fully present at work
- Professional, positive, and energetic
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs throughout the day
- Willing to follow all state licensing and school policies
Minimum Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Classroom experience
