Overview
Registered Nurse – OB/GYN travel assignment in Hanford, CA. Start date 09/08/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,241–$2,295 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for obstetric patients, including labor and delivery recovery and perioperative support during cesarean sections.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications and therapies as ordered, and respond to obstetric emergencies using the nursing process.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesia, and other members of the healthcare team; supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinate care delivery, and participate in discharge planning and patient/family education.
- Document care in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and facilitate effective handoffs during shift changes.
- Ensure a safe, healing, and patient-centered environment while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and infection control standards.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (state of practice)
- BLS required; ACLS required; NRP required (AHA/ARC policies)
- EPIC experience strongly preferred
- BSN preferred; acute care facility experience preferred; minimum 2 years of recent OB/GYN or related acute care experience
- Must be able to take over a Labor and Delivery recovery and assist with cesarean-section births
- Ability to work night shifts in a hospital setting; strong teamwork and communication skills
