Must be available to work all half days, delayed openings and camp days.Pay & Benefits:$17.50/hour Part-time benefits Employee referral program -Deep discounts on program tuition for dependents Fun and friendships come with the paycheckAs an AlphaBEST Captain, you'll be trained to do the following:Lead a fun and dedicated team of Guides that deliver excitement to our student Explorers in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site.Train AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children's sense of wonder.Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students' interests and talents.Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships are fostered at your program site.Here's what you'll need:Must have 90- hour certification in school age programs OR a degree in child care or teaching. 1 year experience working directly with children in an approved setting( registered child care home, licensed child care center, nursery, school, church or similar setting)Must be at least 21years oldAbility to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needsMust be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulationsProvide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing standardsTogether, let's put more wonder in the world!
