Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults on a Med-Surg unit, including monitoring, assessment, and intervention as clinically indicated
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and document care plans in the electronic medical record
- Interpret telemetry data and respond to changes in patient status; ability to read Telemetry required
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate safe, effective patient care; participate in rounds and discharge planning
- Float to related Med-Surg units (e.g., Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation) as needed and per unit census
- Ensure patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance; maintain documentation accuracy and timeliness

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio
- Minimum 3 years of Telemetry and/or Stepdown nursing experience
- Epic EMR proficiency required (refresher training or 1:1 onboarding not available)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to read and interpret Telemetry; competency will be assessed on day one
- Day shift availability with every other weekend required; no on-call
