WorkSolved Staffing is seeking a Garage Door Service & Installation Technician for a direct hire opportunity with a reputable, long-standing company known for its commitment to craftsmanship, reliability, and exceptional customer service. Since 1955, this organization has provided high-quality garage door installation and maintenance for both residential and commercial clients throughout West Michigan.

- Install, service, and repair residential and commercial garage doors and openers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently and accurately.
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Deliver outstanding customer service through professional, courteous interactions.
- Accurately document work performed and communicate with customers about findings and recommendations.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies while operating tools and equipment.
- Proven experience in garage door installation, servicing, or mechanical trades (carpentry, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Capable of lifting 75+ lbs and working at heights or on ladders.
- Starting Pay: $18–$25 per hour (based on experience)
