Controller To Oversee Accounting, CPA Preferred - Immediate Hire

Contingent Assets is looking for an Accounting Controller! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records and overseeing the month end close. This role needs someone who can take over all the day to day accounting task. You will work directly with the CFO level to help plan and provide financial oversight. This role is located in the Southeast side of Phoenix and it's an in office role.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
• Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
• Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
• Report analysis and findings to management team

​Qualifications:

• CPA Preferred
• MBA Preferred
• ERP Implementation,
• Experience in payment processing a plus
• Previous experience in accounting and finance oversee all accounting functions
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
