Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Vocational Specialist

The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Vocational Specialist plays a vital role in supporting clients through employment placement, skill development, and ongoing job retention. Reporting directly to the ACT Team Leader, this position involves frequent travel to multiple sites and regular in-person visits with clients to provide personalized vocational support within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vocational assessments to identify client strengths and employment goals
• Provide individualized job coaching tailored to client needs
• Coordinate resources and collaborate with community partners to support client employment
• Monitor client progress and provide ongoing job retention support
• Facilitate skill development to enhance client employability

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in vocational rehabilitation
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, or related field
• Experience with vocational assessment and case management
• Knowledge of mental health issues and related supports
• Strong communication skills
• Effective time management abilities
