Position Summary

Scenic Landscaping is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to oversee payroll processing and assist with employee compliance operations. This role is essential to maintaining accurate payroll records, supporting accounting functions, assisting with DOT driver compliance, and daily office administration.

The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll and general accounting, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction and field-services environment.

Some Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and verify worked hours and benefit time usage activity.

  • Process PTO (paid time off) and Timecard adjustments as necessary.

  • Process daily payroll including data entry, interface management, and reconciliation of data.

  • Collaborate with HR and Accounting teams including producing payroll reports as requested.

  • Produce Management Reports.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 2+ years Payroll experience using the ADP workforce now

  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are strongly preferred.

  • Excellent excel and word skills

  • Knowledge of accounting and general ledger systems

  • Solid time management and prioritization skills.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Successful candidates will be organized, detail oriented, work well independently and have strong analytical skills and quantitative aptitude.

  • Construction Experience preferred
