Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following:

• 12 college credits in Early Childhood or School Age Education
• OR
• 12 months of experience with children through age 3.
• OR
• Currently enrolled in ECE classes

Additional requirements include:

• Strong communication skills
• Availability Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Familiarity with emergent curriculum

Nice to Have Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Child/Human Development, Elementary Education, or Child & Family Services.
• Registered Child Care Apprenticeship Certificate
• Community College of Vermont Child Care Certificate
• Sense of humor.
• Vermont Orientation Training.
• Mandated Reporter Training.
• SEED & Sew Certification.
