We are looking for an HR Generalist to contribute to a dynamic, fast-moving organization in Santa Clara, California. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone who enjoys bringing order to evolving processes, supporting employees across the full lifecycle, and partnering closely with leadership to keep HR operations running efficiently. The role offers the opportunity to balance day-to-day administration with project-based work in benefits, compensation, and people programs.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily human resources operations and ensure employee records, documentation, and administrative processes remain accurate and up to date.
• Maintain HR information systems by entering, auditing, and organizing employee data to support dependable reporting and compliance.
• Coordinate onboarding activities, prepare employment documentation, and help manage key milestones throughout the employee experience.
• Review offer materials for accuracy and completeness before distribution and support related hiring administration.
• Work with internal teams across business and technical functions to address HR needs and keep shared initiatives moving forward.
• Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment activities, employee communication, and support during open enrollment periods.
• Gather and interpret HR data to highlight patterns, identify process gaps, and inform people-related decisions.
• Contribute to compensation projects by supporting salary structure work, documentation, and related analysis.
• Provide administrative support for equity-related processes, including stock option calculations and associated employee records.
• Partner with senior HR leadership on operational improvements, special projects, and broader people initiatives from planning through execution.• 3 to 6 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or a similarly broad human resources operations position.
• Background supporting HR functions in a startup, high-growth, or fast-changing business environment is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms and maintaining a high level of accuracy in employee data management.
• Practical knowledge of onboarding, employee documentation, and core lifecycle administration.
• Experience assisting with benefits programs, including enrollment support and open enrollment coordination.
• Familiarity with compensation analysis, pay program support, or compensation framework development.
• Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• High school diploma required; exposure to stock administration, PEOs, or employer-of-record models is a plus.
