Robert Half is partnering with a well-established, highly respected medical aesthetics and plastic surgery practice in Chattanooga to identify an exceptional Patient Care Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves building relationships, providing outstanding customer service, and creating a seamless experience for patients from their first phone call through their treatment journey.
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring each patient receives an exceptional experience by:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for patients, providing a warm, welcoming, and professional experience.
- Guiding patients through registration, consultations, procedures, follow-up appointments, and every step of their care journey.
- Coordinating provider schedules while efficiently arranging consultations, surgeries, and post-operative visits.
- Educating patients on treatment timelines, preparation instructions, financial expectations, and recovery information so they feel informed and confident.
- Managing patient check-in and check-out, verifying demographic and insurance information, collecting co-pays, and scheduling future appointments.
- Processing patient payments, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing daily deposits, and issuing receipts.
- Maintaining accurate electronic medical records by entering patient information, updating documentation, and ensuring all required forms are completed.
- Communicating appointment reminders, schedule updates, and answering patient questions with professionalism and empathy.
- Supporting front office operations by welcoming visitors, answering phones, and helping maintain an organized, efficient office environment.
- Protecting patient confidentiality while adhering to HIPAA and practice policies.
- Assisting with additional administrative projects and office support as needed.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Loves delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive patient experiences.
- Has previous experience in a medical office, plastic surgery, medical aesthetics, dermatology, dental, or other healthcare setting (preferred).
- Is highly organized and able to successfully manage multiple priorities throughout the day.
- Communicates professionally with patients, providers, and teammates.
- Possesses excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrates compassion, discretion, and professionalism in every patient interaction.

• Background in patient registration, medical front office support, or a similar healthcare administrative role.• Ability to provide excellent service while building trust with patients in a clinical setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to respond thoughtfully to sensitive situations.
• Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating multiple priorities in a fast-paced medical environment.
• Familiarity with insurance verification, payment collection, and discussing patient financial responsibility.
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications for daily documentation and workflow management.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and support smooth office operations.
