We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to support human resources operations for a manufacturing environment with experience in Kronos! This Long-term Contract will serve as a key partner to site leadership, helping strengthen workforce practices, employee engagement, and day-to-day HR effectiveness. The role requires someone who is detail oriented and can balance strategic guidance with hands-on execution across employee relations, talent processes, compliance, and core HR administration.


Responsibilities:

• Lead human resources support for the manufacturing site, ensuring consistent delivery of HR programs and services aligned with business needs.

• Advise plant leaders and supervisors on employee relations matters, policy application, performance concerns, and leadership practices.

• Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, compensation administration, and benefits-related activities to support workforce needs.

• Develop and support training initiatives, succession planning efforts, and other talent development programs that build long-term organizational capability.

• Manage investigations, disciplinary actions, and other sensitive employee matters with fairness and attention to compliance requirements.

• Use HR data and reporting to identify patterns in retention, engagement, and performance, then recommend practical improvement plans.

• Partner with management on labor planning, recognition efforts, salary review processes, and broader people strategies that improve site performance.

• Help implement HR initiatives, employee programs, and internal communications that increase understanding of company policies, priorities, and objectives.

• Provide coaching and knowledge transfer to managers so they can address workplace issues effectively and support change within their teams.

• 5+ years of human resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing or multi-site environment.
• Strong background in employee relations, HR administration, onboarding, and benefits support.
• Working knowledge of HR compliance practices and the ability to apply policies in a consistent and practical manner.
• Experience using HRIS platforms and timekeeping systems such as Kronos, Kronos Timekeeping System, or Kronos Workforce.
• Proven ability to guide leaders on performance management, workplace concerns, and employee engagement strategies.
• Comfortable analyzing HR metrics and translating data into actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills with the ability to manage sensitive matters discreetly.
