HVAC Install Technician
Job Description
Summary:
As an HVAC Lead Installer working within the HomeTown System, you will be responsible for installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and other equipment following manufacture specifications and company requirements.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
Install and connect ventilation equipment, including ductwork, vents, and piping.
Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance tasks, and installations performed.
Train and mentor helper installers to increase productivity.
Working knowledge of local inspection codes.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on HVAC systems.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain client relationships.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and access attics/crawlspaces.
Sheet metal fabrication and installation are a plus.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Lead HVAC Installer.
Proficient in performing mechanical installation and brazing tasks.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong knowledge of property maintenance practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
