Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic team at Foothill Acres Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in helping our residents recover from injuries, illnesses, or disabilities and regain their independence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to maximize patient functional abilities

• Conduct occupational therapy interventions, such as training in activities of daily living, mobility, and cognitive skills

• Record progress and maintain accurate records of patient treatment

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination

• Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and promoting a positive work environment

Requirements:

• Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in occupational therapy or a related field preferred

• 0 years of experience; willing to train and mentor new staff members

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively as part of a team
