Crate Assembler

Overview:
A leading packaging and manufacturing company in Coppell, Texas is hiring Wooden Crate Assemblers for both 1st and 2nd shift. This position involves building custom wooden crates and packaging materials using hand and power tools in a fast-paced production environment. This is a full-time position that will transition into permanent employment with added incentives and compensation based on performance. Please see below additional information on shift schedules available and work experience requirements.
Shift Schedule: (Both are Available)
- 1st Shift: Monday to Friday | 06:00am to 02:30pm = $18.00hr + OT
- 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday | 2:30pm to 11:30pm = $19.00hr + OT
Job Duties:
- Assemble wooden crates and packaging materials according to specifications
- Use nail guns, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently
- Measure, cut, and fasten wood components
- Follow work instructions and production schedules
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements:
- 3-6 months of experience using hand and power tools required
- Previous assembly, construction, woodworking, pallet, or manufacturing experience
- Comfortable working with wood materials and production equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift
- Ability to stand, bend, and work in a fast-paced environment for 8-12-hour shifts
- Must be dependable with strong attendance and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a Non-Climate controlled environment in Texas
- Must clear pre-employment E-Verify, Criminal background Check and Drug Screening
