Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Pallet Repair Technicians to join our dynamic manufacturing and logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and refurbishing pallets to ensure they meet safety and quality standards. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with construction, woodworking, or carpentry experience to apply their technical skills in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction plans, contributing to the efficient operation of our pallet repair processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect damaged or worn pallets to assess repair needs based on construction plans and schematics
• Disassemble pallets using hand tools and power tools for woodworking and metal stud framing
• Repair or replace broken components such as boards, nails, and rebar reinforcements
• Use woodworking machines and fabrication equipment to restore pallets to operational standards
• Ensure all repairs comply with safety protocols, including power tool safety guidelines
• Operate heavy lifting equipment safely when handling large or heavy pallets
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to workplace safety standards
• Document repair activities accurately and report any recurring issues or defects
• Collaborate with team members on complex restoration projects involving siding, stucco, or water damage remediation
• Assist in the fabrication of custom pallets or components as needed

Skills

• Proven experience with construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines
• Strong background in construction experience, including residential carpentry and trim carpentry
• Knowledge of wood construction materials such as plywood, rebar, and other wood-based components
• Familiarity with construction site procedures, safety protocols, and heavy lifting techniques
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings related to pallet design and repair
• Experience with fabrication processes including metal stud framing and CNC machinery is a plus
• Skills in fixture installation, door hanging, cabinetry, and drywall repair are advantageous
• Basic electrical experience relevant to troubleshooting minor electrical components on pallets is beneficial
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail in restoration tasks
