Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines
• Assist in menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols
• Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning of ingredients
• Support catering events and special functions with timely meal preparation and serving assistance
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy hours
• Follow all kitchen safety procedures, including knife skills and proper food handling techniques

Shifts:

8am-6pm

6pm-3am

Compensation:

$15-19/hr

Experience

• Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable
• Fine dining experience or restaurant background preferred, demonstrating high standards of food quality and presentation
• Strong culinary experience with proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
• Skilled in knife techniques, food industry standards, and kitchen equipment operation
• Experience in menu planning, catering support, and serving is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
