  • Testing & Procedures: Perform basic clinical tasks such as administering injections, drawing blood (venipuncture), performing EKGs, and collecting/preparing laboratory specimens.
  • Triage & Communication: Return patient phone calls, relay lab results under physician direction, and coordinate prescription refills.

  • Compliance:
    • Strictly adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and clinic safety guidelines to maintain patient privacy and safety.
    • Work under the direction of Dr. on special projects for managed care compliance

    • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential is highly preferred.
    • Active CPR/BLS certification.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient clinic or internal medicine setting is preferred, but we welcome enthusiastic new graduates to apply.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and basic computer applications.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication skills, a gentle clinical touch, and the ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
