HVAC/Mechanical Project Manager/Estimator

We are seeking a HVAC/Mechanical Project Manager/Estimator to become an integral part of our HVAC team. This person’s focus will be on supporting our clients in the healthcare, institutional, and life science markets. With us, you are joining a team focused on being the best!

Education:

· BA/BS (Project Management, Engineering, Construction or Related Field Desired)

· Estimating Software (QuoteSoft / Quickpen / AutoBid / Other)

· 3-5-years plus estimating HVAC / Mechanical / Construction projects required

Skills:

· Communication (Via Phone - emails last)

· On-screen take-off with estimating software

· Strong time management and organizational skills

· Able to read and interpret plans and specifications

· Knowledge of Building Connected / Procore / Bluebeam / Microsoft Office

Tasks:

· Distribution of bid Invites to Subs / Vendors and tracking responses

· Read Plans, Specs, and Schedules, and share learned knowledge with vendors and subs

· Perform accurate onscreen take-offs

· Complete estimating form with all costs documented

· Identify project risks and provide risk mitigation options

· Lead bid review with HVAC team and senior leaders

· Maintain and track historical data that will improve future estimates

· Manage sub / vendor list within building connected
