HVAC Technician

Position Summary

The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing residential and light commercial HVAC systems while delivering exceptional customer service. Technicians are expected to represent Cutting Edge Total Comfort with professionalism, integrity, and pride. Experience with ServiceTitan is preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
• Clearly explain repair options and recommendations to customers.
• Prepare accurate estimates using ServiceTitan.
• Maintain complete notes, photos, and documentation in ServiceTitan.
• Promote indoor air quality products, maintenance agreements, and system replacements when appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and inventory.
• Follow all company safety policies and EPA regulations.
• Participate in training and team meetings.
• Provide exceptional customer service on every call.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years HVAC service experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• EPA Certification required.
• NATE Certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of electrical, refrigeration, gas, and airflow diagnostics.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• ServiceTitan experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 75 pounds.
• Work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and outdoors in varying weather.
• Climb ladders and work from heights.
• Stand, kneel, bend, and crouch for extended periods.
