Field Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Marquis Home Care

Pay: $41.21 - $49.63 per hour

Pay Rate: $87-$200 per visit

Marquis Certified Home Care is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our dynamic home care team. As a Home Care Pediatric Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of children by providing specialized physical therapy services in the comfort of their homes. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the well-being and development of pediatric patients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients to identify speech therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

• Educate and involve parents/caregivers in the therapeutic process, providing guidance on home exercises and activities.

• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals.

• Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop integrated care plans.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Speech Therapy license in the state of New York.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pediatric Speech Therapist.

• School based experience is a plus

• Strong knowledge of pediatric developmental milestones and conditions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
