Customer Service - Beach Attendant

The Customer Service - Beach Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, enjoyable beach experience for all visitors. This position involves assisting guests, handling equipment rentals, and maintaining beach safety. Working either independently or as part of a small team, the Beach Attendant directly reports to the Beach Manager and Operations Manager. The role includes regular weekend and holiday shifts with opportunities year-round in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer assistance and support
• Ensure beach safety by monitoring conditions and enforcing rules
• Manage equipment rental operations and inventory
• Lifting up to 50lbs and perform physical outdoor work
• Communicate clearly with guests and team members
• Operate basic point-of-sale systems and related technology
• Drive trucks or trailers if able, using power tools as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• No prior experience necessary
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Effective problem-solving and time management abilities
• Experience with cash handling and teamwork
• Able to lift up to 50lbs comfortably
