Position Overview

Empowerize Therapy Center is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing team in Brighton, MI. This outpatient position focuses on pediatric and adult care, including neurodevelopmental therapy, with opportunities to incorporate orthopedic care based on clinic caseload. Full-time permanent outpatient position. In this setting, you will work 1:1 with patients. Some travel is involved as Empowerize Therapy Center partners with a local ABA therapy center to bring PT, OT, ST to their pediatric clients with ASD.

Full-time or PRN candidates are welcome to apply. This is a flexible opportunity for a motivated clinician who enjoys problem-solving, collaboration, and helping patients achieve meaningful functional outcomes.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal Physical Therapist is passionate about improving the lives of patients and families. Our patient population is primarily neurological diagnoses, so candidates with experience and/or is comfortable working with the following conditions is preferred:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Developmental Delays
  • Parkinson’s
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Cerebral vascular accidents (strokes)
  • TBIs
  • Spinal cord injuries

We are looking for a clinician who enjoys exploring creative solutions, learning new approaches, and contributing to a positive team environment.


Caseload and Patient Population

The Physical Therapist will treat a pediatric and adult outpatient caseload including:

  • Birth to across the life span
  • Neurological conditions
  • Orthopedic rehabilitation
  • This position offers the opportunity to develop specialized skills while providing individualized, patient-centered care.

Schedule

Flexible scheduling options are available based on the availability of the clinician hired and what the case load requires.

Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (times may vary based on flex schedule).

Full-time and PRN schedules will be considered.

Qualifications

Doctor of Physical Therapy degree

Eligible for Michigan Physical Therapist licensure or must be able to attain prior to start date.

Must be legally eligible to work in the United States

Experience working with neurodivergent populations preferred

Experience with working with neurological conditions preferred

New graduate Physical Therapists are welcome to apply!
