Carpenter

Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Carpenters for projects located in the New Haven, CT area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $20-34/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Study sketches and blueprints to understand project plans
• Use tape measure to size spaces and saws to cut wood, plastic or drywall
• Build the main rough wooden framework for walls, floors and roofs
• Install fixtures like doors, windows, molding and cabinety
• Inspect damaged wood or structures and repair or replace them
• Assemble windows and apply sealant to weatherproof them prior to installation

Responsibilities

• Own hand tools, drills, screw guns, etc
• OSHA 10 is a plus
