Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters for projects located in the Bakersfield, CA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Dig trenches and ditches, backfill, and level earth
  
• Haul, load, and unload materials and equipment
  
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, or gravel
  
• Clean and prep construction sites
  
• Assist with traffic control in work zones
  
• Measure, mark, and lay out work areas
  
• Signal equipment operators
  
• Clean tools and equipment while following safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Must have CDL Class B
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
• Stand, walk, and bend on uneven surfaces
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• High school diploma or equivalent
• DOT drug and alcohol testing compliance
• Experience in construction, pipeline, utility, or civil work preferred
